Webinar: ‘Recognition of Ukrainian diplomas and qualifications abroad’

On 15 September 2026 at 12:00 Kyiv time, a webinar entitled ‘Recognition of Ukrainian diplomas and qualifications abroad’ will take place, organised in collaboration with the Office of the Ombudsman of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The event will be useful for Ukrainians who are currently abroad due to the war and are planning to find employment or continue their studies.

The webinar will cover:

🔹 the recognition of Ukrainian diplomas and professional qualifications abroad;
🔹 procedures for validating educational documents;
🔹 the specifics of finding employment and gaining admission to overseas educational institutions on the basis of Ukrainian documents;
🔹 recent changes in legislation;
🔹 practical issues faced by Ukrainians when having their qualifications recognised abroad.

Questions from participants will be answered by staff from the Office of the Ombudsman of Ukraine, together with representatives from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The webinar is aimed, in particular, at Ukrainians in the Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Switzerland, Lithuania and Latvia.
